Associate Professors of Instruction Sue Almen-Whittaker, Alicia Ambler, and Ryan Kaduce presented at the Mid-American Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages conference held in Kansas City at the end of September 2022.  Ambler spoke on "First Things First:  Classroom Culture Conversations to Start Smart" as well as "Small Group Reading:  An Easy Method for Engagement ".  Almen-Whittaker and Kaduce presented "Choosing Service Activities for Busy ESL Professionals".  Additionally, Kaduce presented "From Instructor to Mentor: Motivational Interviewing for ESL student success".
