Eric received his bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and master’s degree in TESL/Applied Linguistics from Iowa State University in 2002. He has taught in Turkey, Kazakhstan, Ames (Iowa), and now Iowa City.

His professional interests include computer assisted language learning and second language acquisition.
